Did you know that Bibles for America produces videos?
Our Christian life can benefit by our watching spiritually nourishing videos. With these short clips at your fingertips, we hope you’ll enjoy them time and time again, as well as share them with others.
This post explores four types of Bibles for America videos you can watch.
1. Gospel Message Videos
First Timothy 2:4 tells us that our God “desires all men to be saved.” Maybe we’ve realized a relative, a co-worker, a friend, or a neighbor needs to hear the gospel. Our series of gospel videos is a great way to share with others about who Jesus is, and what the meaning of their human life is.
One way to easily send these videos with friends and family is through email or social media. To do this, click on one of the share buttons next to the video on our videos page, or use the “sharing menu” on the video player itself.
2. Videos on truths in the Bible
The second part of 1 Timothy 2:4 says,
“…and to come to the full knowledge of the truth.”
After we’re saved, and throughout our Christian life, we need to continue to delve into the riches in God’s Word and digest them. For example, once we’re saved, we need to learn the secret of maintaining the joy of our salvation. Click here to learn how to maintain this joy.
Here’s another opportunity to share the Lord with others! Let’s say your friend is newly saved and needs help to know how to deal with some sins that are bothering him. You might email the video The Precious Blood of Christ and share with him your enjoyment of the cleansing power of the blood.
3. Videos about the Recovery Version and Christian books
If you’re unfamiliar with how to use the New Testament Recovery Version, this video showcases the main features of this study Bible––its outlines, footnotes and cross references––to help you get the most out of using it.
We have a set of Bible discussion videos that takes a look at the chapters in the Basic Elements of the Christian Life vol. 1-3. For example, in Pray-reading the Word, Part 2 we have a helpful demonstration of praying with the Word, and praying back to God the words that touch and inspire us. This practice of pray-reading really enriches our spiritual life.
4. Inspiring Testimonial Videos
When you’re having a tough day, reading a spiritually supplying text message from a friend can lift you up. Similarly, when you’re in a dry patch, you can listen to a watering testimony of a fellow Christian’s experience of the Lord.
The Bibles for America video page has many such testimonies, one of which is How We Can Not Be Anxious. A brother in Christ describes how easy it is for the complexities of life to overwhelm us. Be sure to watch this video to learn the wonderful secret, drawn from the book of Philippians, of how to deal with anxiety and be at peace.
We hope you enjoy the Bibles for America videos included in this post, and many others on the video section of our website. We’ll continue to create more videos, so be sure to check back regularly for new content.
